Child Safety Policy

Genzee takes the privacy and safety of children very seriously. This Child Safety Policy outlines our compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K), and Google Play’s Families Policy requirements.

1. General Audience Applications

Unless explicitly categorized in the "Designed for Families" program on the Google Play Store, our applications are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of consent in the EU, typically 16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verified parental consent.

2. Advertising & Child Safety (Mediation Networks)

For applications that may appeal to mixed audiences or are enrolled in family programs, we ensure strict compliance regarding how advertisements are served through our mediation stack (which includes AppLovin, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, Mintegral, InMobi, and Yandex Ads):

  • Age-Gating & Flags: We implement necessary SDK flags (e.g., age-restricted flags in AppLovin and AdMob) to ensure that users identified as children are NOT served personalized, interest-based advertisements.
  • Content Filtering: We configure our ad network accounts to apply strict content filters, ensuring that only family-safe, G-rated advertisements are shown within applicable apps.
  • No Tracking for Minors: We disable data tracking, analytics sharing, and remarketing pools for users known to be under the age of digital consent.

3. Parental Rights & Data Deletion

If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should contact us immediately. If we become aware that a child under the legal age threshold has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers and disable associated tracking IDs.

4. Compliance with Google Play Policies

All Genzee apps strictly adhere to the Google Play Developer Program Policies, specifically the Data Safety and Families policies, ensuring a secure environment for all users.
